IVR Engineer
Apex Systems, Inc. has an immediate opening for an IVR Engineer in the Hagerstown area. This position requires a high level of responsibility designing, directing project efforts, determining feasibility, and time and cost estimates. This individual will also provide systems analysis, complex programming and interface development for multiple business segments. Primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to providing high level design solutions that conform to the overall system requirements. Primary resource person in converting business requirements and definition to system programming specifications. Approve technical specifications for Analyst. Design and write complex programs and system interfaces in accordance with client specifications. Perform unit tests of system interfaces for complex programs prior to release of code for Quality Assurance testing. Serve as first level for client interface by providing solutions or options to client problems/needs. Member of interdepartmental project teams on large development efforts. Provide on-call product support for complex projects and work in an on-call rotation. Must work from FDC location. May provide on-site CTI deployment support including software installation and training for on-site EUC personnel for CTI programming positions. Assist in planning projects, assigning tasks, monitoring progress and providing status reports to upper management. Perform investigation and research for system environments (i.e., reporting systems, switching systems, computer systems, IVR systems etc.) to assist in resolving complex programming problems or identifying solutions to new business requirements. Ensure completion of project within established timeframes. Participate in training programs. May serve as project manager for a group of Analysts or Associates with responsibility for the overall development of a project. A successful candidate will also have experience in a large project environment, specializing in programming and analysis with working knowledge of business functions and planning. Also, proficiency in relevant programming and control languages, while having analytical skills and thorough knowledge of standards and practices is a must.
