IT jobs USA: Siebel Developer

The Public Sector Healthcare group at CGI Federal is looking for mid to senior level Siebel developers to join our project team. We are looking for a hard working team players who are committed to providing high quality and value add services to our client.

This project includes a migration from Classic ASP to the .NET framework and migration from a Siebel based user interface to a .NET framework. Individuals must have recent experience working on .NET projects, ideally 3.0 or 3.5. Experience with migrating applications to .NET is preferred.

Candidates will participate in the full system development lifecycle. Specific responsibilities include:
 Research, Analysis and Design of System Enhancements
 Siebel Application Maintenance
 Support for integrated applications using VB/ASP and Java
 Maintainiing technical best practices
 Supporting testing activities
 C0operating with other project teams to support production operations.

Ideal candidates will possess 1-3 years Siebel development experience, including Siebel 7.7 / Siebel 8.1, and exposure and hands-on experience with Siebel eService or Siebel eSupport. Other desired skills include:

 Knowledge of portal architecture and frameworks
 Hands on experience with Microsoft Visual Studio/Visual InterDev, HTML, XML, J2EE, JAVA, JSP, ASP, VB.
 2+ years strong WCF/ Web Services experience.
 Service Oriented Architecture professional experience.
 Proven analytical skills, strong verbal and written communication skills, and atention to detail/
 Ability to work directly with customers and facilitate requirements gathering/generating discussions.
 Proven ability to work in a team environment.
 Experience working in CMMI Level 3 environments
