IT jobs: Oracle Developer

Position Description:
.Support all phases of Oracle application development including, maintenance and user support.
.Responsibilities also include Oracle design troubleshooting, on-going maintenance of applications.
. Makes modifications/additions/enhancements as required to reflect the latest business model changes, company information, and Oracle-based data collection user interfaces.
.Leads in the analysis of business objectives/goals and the design and implementation of Oracle based application modules.
.Develops customer requirements documents for business needs based on interviews, discussions, and facilitated sessions.
.Developing a solid, friendly working relationship with customers
.Working effectively with other teams in and outside of IT to ensure quality service to customers

ESSENTIAL SKILLS REQUIRED

.Undergraduate Degree in Management of Information Systems, Computer Science, or other related field
.Solid Oracle development background with minimum of three years of experience forming, building, implementing, and maintaining Oracle applications
.Expert knowledge of Oracle Forms / Reports 6i,Oracle Forms / Reports 10g
.Expert knowledge of Oracle Designer Repository 10g Administration: Knowledge on Designer APIs, Configuration Management, Entity Relationship Data Modeling and Repository Object Browser (ROB)
.Expert knowledge of development using Oracle APEX.
.Expert knowledge of SQL,PL/SQL, and SQL Plus.
.Strong knowledge of XML generation and Installing Java in oracle would be a plus
.Strong knowledge of generating HTML applications using modplsql.
.Strong knowledge of Oracle Application Server (OAS) 10g for deployment only.
.Strong knowledge of Oracle Headstart and CDM rule Frame.
.Strong knowledge of Oracle 10g/11g database.
.Strong knowledge of Unix language and scripting.

NONESSENTIAL SKILLS DESIRED

.Excellent written and oral communication.
.Ability to work with user community to understand requirement and problems.
.Self motivator and focused on delivering business benefit

HARDWARE/SOFTWARE PACKAGES

.Excellent PC skills, including (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), MS Outlook, MS Project, and Visio.
.Knowledge of XML would be appreciated.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

.Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
.3 to 5 years of Oracle development experience
