IT UNIX Developer and Production Support Lead

Description:Eaton Corporation located in Willoughby Hills, Ohio has an opening for an IT UNIX Development and Production Support Lead.The candidate will be responsible for the creation, maintenance and support of the Remedy suite and the applications it interacts with. Remedy is an application for managing production support environments. The candidate will be trained in the Remedy suite, if needed. The candidate will also act as the back-up resource to the Remedy Administrator roll. This role will work closely with the Remedy change advisory board in developing the desired solutions needed by the IT organization. The essential functions would be as listed:- Perform break/fix support for the Remedy application.- Work with Remedy change advisory board and other IT business customers in order to develop requested solutions within Remedy based on requirements provided by IT owners.- Work with other IT application owners to create and maintain integrations with other IT and HR systems- Perform all Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) tasks for changes and modifications to Remedy and its associated applications. This includes business analysis, design, development, documentation, deployment, and support activities.- Establish reliable and repeatable processes for Remedy development and changes.- Maintain and modify applications designed to leverage Remedy services, using standard Remedy APIs.- Act as the back up to the Remedy administrator for set-up and configuration tasks and requests.If interested, please apply online at www.eatonjobs.com indicating salary requirements/history.
