Job Description:

We are looking for a Systems Administrator to join our operations team in our Emeryville office. As a member of our team, you*ll be working in a high volume infrastructure comprised of a wide variety of technologies. This position will be focused primarily on our Microsoft Windows based infrastructure, with some potential exposure to Linux and Unix (Solaris) systems.

Job Responsibilities:
* Maintaining a 24x7 server farm comprised mostly of Windows based servers
* Provide operational support for production and lab environments including system administration, software deployment and configuration management
* Working to develop processes and procedures that simplify maintenance activities.
* Participate in requirements analysis, implementation planning, and deployment.
* Participate in 24/7 on-call schedules
* Work on Root Cause Analysis and reporting.

Required Qualifications:
* Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows server technologies
* Pervious systems administration and management of production Microsoft Windows systems.
* Experience with SQL Server 2000 or 2005, including connectivity and general operational knowledge.
* Strong knowledge of TCP/IP and application level protocols including DNS, HTTP and SMTP.
* Experience with Scripting Languages.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Experience with performance tuning in an application server environment
* Experience with Unix and Linux systems.

Desired Qualifications:
* NAS and SAN experience (FC/iSCSI)
* Security experience from an application, OS and network level.
* High availability experience, including Load Balancing and application clustering (active/active and active/standby).
* Experience working within a team with separation of roles.
