IT Support Engineer/Jr. Server Administrator

Richard Fleischman and Associates, a growing IT consulting firm with large financial services client base is seeking experienced Field Technicians for our Purchase, NY office. This position will require you to travel to our hedge fund clients which are within a 10 block radius from our HQ. Qualified candidates must have the ability to resolve network issues both remotely and at client site.

**This position requires you to have reliable transportation as you will be driving to our client sites in Stamford, CT which are about 25 mile radius from our office. Most of the time you will be in CT. 


Candidates should possess 2-5 years of professional IT support experience with hands-on networking experience required.Also must have outstanding communication and interpersonal skills and have the ability to work within a team environment. Excellent listening and analytical skills are essential, along with the ability to remain calm under pressure while working in a focused manner.



Requirements

PC hardware/software and networking knowledge a must.

All Windows operations - 2003 Server, MS Exchange, VPN's, Corp Antivirus, Networking, Active Directory, MS Office, Outlook and Blackberry (or other wireless email) support.

Desired Requirements:


- Firewall experience, video conferencing, back-ups, and data replication experience

- Any experience with related applications such as Bridge Station, Bloomberg, and Reuters or  Disaster Recovery is a plus.
