IT Support

Amadeus Consulting, a dynamic and growing custom software development company is seeking an IT Support Tech with 1-3 years experience for a full-time position in Boulder.  Candidate will have a willingness to learn, attention to detail, capacity to plan, ability to execute, and a commitment to quality.  Successful candidate will also have the ability to expand their technical knowledge while joining a fun, supportive team and working with one of the top software consultancies in the country.


Job Responsibilities:

 

-- Build, configure, and troubleshoot all workstations, desktops, and laptops.

-- Maintain and improve current system for creating and deploying machine images to multiple hardware/software configurations.

-- Maintain VOIP phone system.

-- Configure and distribute virtual machine configurations for internal testing environments.

-- Assist users with company software (MS Office, Sharepoint, Standard Time, Salesforce, Shoretel Call Manager, etc.)

-- Manage user accounts in Active Directory as well as other web-based applications.

-- Keep machines up-to-date and consistent with all software, driver, and OS updates and versions.

-- Maintain inventory of all hardware within the organization.

-- Assist with troubleshooting Network and Server issues as well as infrastructure improvements.

Job Requirements:

-- 1-3 years experience supporting users and troubleshooting workstation/laptop/peripheral hardware and software issues.

-- Working knowledge of basic Networking principals such as DNS, DHCP, Default Gateways, TCP/IP, etc.

-- Associates degree in Computer/Information Systems or related discipline.  (Applicants with comparable work towards a Bachelors degree will also be considered.)

-- Windows XP Pro, Vista Enterprise.

-- Microsoft Office 2007

-- Norton Ghost 2003

-- Virtualization technologies (Virtual PC 2007, Virtual Server 2005, VMWare Server)

-- Active Directory (AD) 2003 and GPO Administration

-- System Center Essentials (SCE) 2007, WSUS 3.0

-- Shoretel 7.5
