IT Applications Administrator

We have an immediate full time opportunity in our Huntsville, Alabama office for the position of IT Applications Administrator.

 

Description: The Business Applications Administrator supports finance, sales, client care, implementations and marketing business units within SirsiDynix. This position provides functional support as well as technical strategy and direction to ensure that the company’s mission-critical business applications align with and meet business requirements. These systems currently include GreatPlains, Salesforce.com, Big Machines and Open Air. This person will provide best practices and recommendations for integration and application development, deployment and iterative refinement.

 

Duties: Provide resolution to technical and business issuesReview, develop and execute project plans to address user requirementsProvide proactive best practice guidance to user communityIdentify and implement application solutions, enhancements and system integrations that meet business requirementsAct as a liaison between the business and ITOther duties as assigned

 

We are looking for candidates who have: excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills, ability to interact with all levels of the user community, understanding of database concepts and data management, ability work in a rapidly changing environment and effectively manage/prioritize projects. Understanding of S-Controls and APEX coding preferred.  

The ideal candidate for this position has a BS/BA Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology of equivalent work experience plus two years experience with implementation and configuration of ERP or CRM systems.
