John Deere Ag Division is seeking a candidate to work in Waterloo, Iowa as part of a division team providing Pro/ENGINEER and PDMLink application support for global Ag Product Engineering Design Centers. In this position, you will: Perform problem diagnostics and resolution of engineering support requests. Administration of PDMLink objects to resolve data management requirements. Enable and manage standard modeling practices and requirements. Identify and maintain process documentation related to product modeling and engineering change management applications. Maintain and improve Pro/ENGINEER configuration and startup procedures for global Ag units.Education Bachelor's of Science degree in Engineering or Information Technology or equivalent experience.Required Skills and Experience Fundamental knowledge of Pro/ENGINEER and PDMLink software. Understanding of the Product Development Process and engineering change control environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work with indirect supervision in a virtual team environment. Collaborative skills to enable communication with culturally diverse global IT organizations. Understanding of application development, databases, data management, and systems infrastructure. Ability and willingness to travel including international trips of 1-2 weeks. Estimated travel time is approximately 10% per year. Desired Skills and Experience Administration of Pro/ENGINEER or PDMLink software. Experience in software support including problem diagnostics and root cause analysis. Experience in implementing new technology while addressing cultural change, data migration, training, and system integrations. Project management skills for effective planning and completion of software implementations.
