He/She will interact with other technology team members on the need basis for gaining knowledge from other domain, efficient design and for components reusability.  To develop and maintain Software developed using web technology on E*Trade Mainstream architecture, for customer and associate facing applications.  Essential Responsibilities:Primarily activity will be hands-on software development involving in Java/C/Perl code on E*Trade mainstream technology.Develop and support presentation and business logic services, for service, sales & operations related enterprise applications.Work as a developer with business and technology teams to support all phases of development life cycle.Perform support and maintenance role for production application maintained for end-users.Work with peers within the department on a regular basis on multiple project implementations.   Job Requirements   Min of 2 to 3 years of development work experience using JAVA language on Linux or UNIX with Web-Services development on Apache/Tomcat platform. Extensively used AJAX, JavaScript, HTML/DHTML & XML and should have working experience on JWS/AXIS/XSD/WSDL web service development.Experience with SVN (or CVS) and be familiar with Eclipse IDE and Unix/Linux commands required for development such as vi editor, shell commands, etc.Working experience on C/C++, E-SQL with Sybase or any standard RDBMS on Linux/Unix platform is preferred. Working Knowledge on Perl, Shell programming is a strong plus. Must be very strong in software development life cycle.Knowledge on BPMS or any Workflow product is a plus.Excellent communication and analytical skills with an open mind to different opinions from peers and business partners.Should be adaptable to learning new technologies and able to work in a challenging environment.B.S  degree in Computer  Science or related disciplines.
