Brief Posting Description Detailed Description   Job SummaryThis is a Senior Project Manager position in a fast paced Customer Service environment.  This individual will lead and manage projects in areas related to Customer Service and Sales.  This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail and good communication skills (written, verbal and presentation).  This individual will also need to be a team player and enjoy working with others on challenging, fast paced projects.  In order to be successful, this candidate will need to demonstrate strong leadership skills with virtual, cross functional teams. Essential ResponsibilitiesDevelop project plans. Define and track milestone using MS Project and an internal project portfolio management system. Lead and participate in meetings. Facilitate management discussions and decisions. Act as a liaison between project team, management, product team and vendors. Be responsible for project scope, risk management, change controls, and resource assignments. Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget, based on approved scope. Job Requirements A minimum of 5 years experience as a project manager in an IT environment. Must have a good working knowledge of PMI project management principles and techniques. Must have a good working knowledge of the software development life cycle (SDLC) principles and techniques. Strong understanding of project life cycle fundamentals and principles. Extensive PM experience managing a multitude of web-based and software development projects from inception to completion. Strong multi-tasking skills. Must have experience managing teams of 8 - 15 people. Must have experience managing virtual teams. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills. Ability to lead cross functional teams and interact with all levels of management. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to work independently and with a team. Must have strong written and verbal communication skills. Work easily on the phone and through email with remote team members. Proficient with MS Project, Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Visio.BS in computer science or related discipline.Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
