POSITION BACKGROUND:

MIG is actively looking for an experienced inside sale representative with experience in selling Enterprise Software applications to join our rapidly growing team. The inside sales representative will be responsible for mining and targeting leads, cold-calling and qualifying leads.  This position is a 4 day a week telecommuting position with one day in office.  Candidates MUST have a dedicated office space within their home.  CANDIDATES MUST SUBMIT SALARY REQUIREMENTS TO BE CONSIDERED.

 

POSITION DUTIES:

The duties for this position include:Overall responsibility is to generate, cultivate, and qualify potential customers to pass to outside sales team.Respond to inquiries and develop leads to marketing efforts and within the company’s database Must be able to prospect & expand target customer base consisting primarily of mid-sized companies.  Conduct research to gather company information and create new leads.  Develop leads based on referrals, cross-selling, and other ad hoc opportunities.  Work closely with sales team and senior management to drive new revenue streams. Consistently stay abreast of industry trends within MIG & Co. marketplace.

 

Skills & Requirements:

 

Position Skills & Requirements:Exceptional and demonstrable phone-based selling skills.  Understand the concept of communicating business value and know how to close for appointments. Has a successful track record qualifying C-level leads for Sales.  Minimum 5 years experience in inside sales or business development for an Enterprise Software company.  Ability to softly counter objections. Knowledge of business organizational structure and buying influences.  Be a self-starter who is highly motivated, unflappable, and results-driven.  Have an outgoing, confident personality with a professional attitude and strong communication skills.  Excellent organizational skills and superior time management skills.Must possess computer proficiency - MS Office, CRM knowledge and internet based research.Dedicated office area within home with desktop computer and broadband service.  Environment must be free of distractions and noise.  One day a week in office required.
