Hyperion Planning Architect
Role: Hyperion Planning Architect Required: B.S. in Accounting, Mathematics, Finance or Computer Science; MBA, CPA, or equivalent work experience preferred 4+ years experience working with budgeting, forecasting, consolidation, and financial reporting applications 4 years of experience with Hyperion Planning & Essbase Experience with Hyperion Financial Management (HFM), Hyperion Application Link (HAL), Hyperion Financial Reports and Hyperion Web Analysis a plus Experience in full life-cycle of project development including Requirements, Design, Development, Testing, Rollout, Implementation, and Training Must have strong finance background; experience in Planning, Budgeting, and Forecasting process Experience in a variety of industries such as retail, financial, manufacturing and/or life sciences Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal skills and ability to foster client relationships and working relationships with peers Excellent analytical and research skills Self-starter with ability to work on projects with minimum supervision while adding value to cross-functional teams Ability and willingness to travel up to 70% for client engagements (required)Responsibilities: The Hyperion Planning Architect will be responsible for the design of solution-oriented consulting to Fortune 1000 clients utilizing the Hyperion Planning application. Duties will include: Developing business value solutions using Hyperion Planning for our customers Determining customer business requirements, project scope, and assisting the estimation of efforts Formulating system requirements from the business requirements Developing and implementing applications for customers based on identified requirements Developing key business processes to support a Hyperion Planning application Designing the user experience from an end user budgeting and reporting perspective Determining data sourcing strategies and data validation approach Defining test conditions and test scripts to ensure system stability and validity Supporting user training, documentation and deployment Identifying project risks, issues and avenues of mitigation Adhering to technical and business leading best practices Mentoring and developing staff by leading teams through full life-cycle implementations Partnering with team to create and improve methodologies, provide proposal creation support, and assist in pre-sales effortsInterested candidates should forward their resumes in Word format to ctaylor@hollisterstaff.com .
