Job Description:

This position is responsible for developing performance management reporting solutions.   The person in this position will work with business partners and associated data content teams on developing and supporting reporting solutions for performance reporting using the Hyperion System 9 suite.  Some of the more advanced expecations of this position are to anticipate and suggest more effective information delivery solutions.  This position requires both technical skills as well as  a strong knowledge of finance and performance metrics.  The technical skills required include the ability to develop reporting solutions using Hyperion/Essbase although individuals with experience in similar technologies would be considered.  This individual will implement the solutions into a production process and periodically provide ongoing production support to the application. This postion requires someone that can work independently with business areas, internal data suppliers and internal technical support functions.  The optimum person in this position would be expected to take on some senior level development, research and leadership responsibilities.

This position is responsible for developing performance management reporting solutions, leveraging the Hyperion product suite, within Management Reporting and Planning Department of the Corporate Finance and Strategy Division (specifically MRP).  The person in this position will work with business partners and associated data content teams on developing and supporting reporting solutions for performance reporting using the Hyperion System 9 suite.  This position requires both technical skills as well as  knowledge of finance and performance metrics.  The technical skills required include experience with database concepts, preferably multi-dimensional. This individual will implement the solutions into a production process and provide ongoing production support to the application. This postion requires someone that can work independently with business areas, internal data suppliers and internal technical support functions. 

Hyperion System 9 installation experience

- Experience working with Linux and Windows

- More than 5 years overall Systems experience

- Must be able to have a flexible schedule...availability from 6 - 6

- Database experience a plus

- must have good communication skills

- experience doing web analysis, OBIEE, Etc is favorable

- web sphere experience a plus

- site scope experience a plus

- must be a team player...will be working in a team of three supporting an environment of over 4000 users

- experience with VM ware a plus
