To work within the HR team providing professional HR Generalist support to Dealogic US particularly in the areas of recruitment, employee relations, HRIS reporting, immigration related work and ad hoc requests.

The Role

 

 

 

Dealogic is the market leading supplier of relationship and transaction management software for capital raising in the investment banking industry.

The HR department is responsible for the provision of a range of services to Dealogic. This includes recruitment, payroll, benefits, learning and development, performance management, policies, employee relations and change management.

 

 

The jobholder will have a high level of initiative and demonstrable interest in HR in order to contribute to the success of the department. With good interpersonal skills and ability in working with data and HRIS, they will be able to make an impact across key HR functions with the ability to take more responsibility and ownership as they increase their learning. Building relationships with others outside the HR team is key to this role and the ability and willingness to think laterally and exploit opportunities to improve own performance and credibility will be a driver for the jobholder

 

It is essential to have previous generalist experience and the ability to demonstrate a clear understanding of all fundamental duties. You will possess a clear drive to develop your career within HR and have a flexible, inquisitive approach.

 

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Include but not be limited to:

 Align closely with managers to help define staffing needs and oversee recruitment process.  Liaise with HR team and line managers in identifying and ensuring best practice interventions including alignment of job descriptions, motivational and attitudinal fit and competence based interview questions. Conduct first round interviews, facilitate offer and negotiation process

 

 Advise and enforce internal policies and proceduresCarry out performance management issues (including monitoring performance improvement plans, disciplinary actions, carry out terminations)Monitoring performance appraisals

 Ensure adherence to all applicable federal/state law guidelines

 Oversee and facilitate New York immigration function. Function inclusive of transferring and sponsoring for speciality occupation visas.  Administer permanent residency applications.  Ensure integrity of all I-9 documentation. 

 Utilize HRIS database (ASR) to retrieve, report and analyze data for recruitment and headcount reporting.

 Facilitate all 401k 5500 discrimination testing and daily administration related to the Plan Sponsor (Mass Mutual Retirement Services)Track and carry out EEOC reporting

 Oversee and undertake department projects as directed by Global HR Manager
