Opportunity:

As Global Performance Manager (GPM), you will drive sales and overall performance execution of key Intuit business lines operated by Intuit global service providers (GSP's). This role operates within the Intuit inside sales (telesales) channel focused the U.S. small business segment.
This results-oriented role will focus on meeting/exceeding the financial plan for a line of business ranging from $15 to $45 million in revenue. Delivery of these results must be achieved while concurrently managing cross-sell and voice of customer (VOC) goals.  You will report directly to Sales leadership with a dotted line to global sales leadership.

 

Key Responsibilities:
1) Drive sales execution within the sales organization with focus on teaching and growing capability

2) Drive continual process improvement resulting in increasing sales performance
3) Perform deep analysis leveraging financial, operational, and anecdotal data points to diagnose sales performance problems
4) Work with multiple teams and GSP's to develop and execute sales performance improvement plans
6) Improve GSP's ability to provide value engineering back to the business

Typical Deliverables:
• 50% Sales execution - through engaging GSP frontline leadership and sales consultants to teach, mentor and drive financial results. Partner with GSP frontline leadership to diagnose deficiencies in agent performance and engineer and drive remedies through GSP frontline leadership. Includes live agent/customer interactions, tool utilization, agent workflow process compliance and coaching/development observation.
• 20% "Chalk Talks" & Sales Consultant and Team Lead 1:1's - daily feedback meetings with Team Leads, subject matter experts, product specialists, sales consultants, and other enabling teams and personnel
• 10-15% Sales Calibrations - Calibrating sales consultants against peers and expectations along with subject matter experts and team lead groups. Focus on application of sales process affecting team outputs; resulting in decreased variation, increased sales output and common use of tools & processes.
• 15% Other - Performance & Organizational Calibrations - reviewing performance against expectations, initiative prioritizations and goals/results. Organizational calibrations surrounding leadership deployment, agent engagement, environmental factors affecting performance and outsourcer led initiatives. General functions to "run the business, and reporting and administrative responsibilities

 

Critical Skills/Expertise:
• Proven sales leadership and execution in inside sales environment
• Sales management experience driving revenue in excess of $10M
• Strong experience in matrix organization with the ability to successfully collaborate, influence, and drive results in indirect working relationships
• Ability to promote the team vision to executive leadership/staff and other organizations
• Excellent project management skills, including: team-building, role assignment (DACI), organization, prioritization, time management, conflict resolution and risk assessment/mitigation
• Strong business, technical writing and verbal communications skills
• Up to 50% travel including international

Qualifications/Required Education and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree required, masters desirable
• Minimum of five years experience in a sales leadership position exceeding $10M in revenue

• Experience in managing results through outsourced organizations highly desired
• Proven business analysis skills leveraging financial and operating metrics
• Teaching & mentoring experience highly desirable
• Experience working internationally highly desirable
