A Dynamics GP Implementation Consultant will be focused on the delivery, implementation of Microsoft's Dynamics GP (Great Plains) solutions. The Consultant should have deep technical or functional skills in Dynamics GP that will be used in performing these tasks. Consultants will also play a project management role for smaller clients and projects. The consultant will be familiar with software implementation.
A Dynamics GP Implementation Consultant will spend a majority of their time executing tasks related to client delivery. Most of this client time will be focused on detailed project tasks. A small portion of client time will be spent on project management tasks. Any non-client time will be spent on personal training, internal projects and administrative tasks. Consulting work will be primarily performed at our client sites. Some amount of overnight travel (up to 25%) is inherent in any consulting business and will be required of our Team Members.
Responsibilities:Install and configure Dynamics GP v10.x Perform business requirements analysis and design Perform gap analysis between Great Plains functionality and client's requirements Identify and recommend product customizations, enhancements or work-arounds to meet client requirements Train users on new business processes and using Dynamics GP Develop data conversion and testing strategies
Education, Certifications and Experience: 4 year degree in business, Accounting, MIS or equivalent;
· MBA degree preferred; CPA a plus
· Experience with Dynamics GP v10.x preferred, v7.0 or higher required
· Microsoft Dynamics GP Certification, preferred
· 3+ years experience implementing GP/Great Plains Financial, HR/PY, Manufacturing and/or Distribution modules required
· Experience with Manufacturing modules a plus
· Experience with core business processes such as accounting, distribution, manufacturing, HR, PY
· Experience with other Dynamics solutions (AX, SL, NAV, CRM) a plus
· Consulting organization experience, preferred
· Experience with integration tools and 3rd party add on modules a plus
· Experience with reporting tools a plus: Crystal, FRx, Report Writer, Forecaster
· Experience with ISVs a plus
· Knowledge of GP/Great Plains customization tools a plus
