GL Accountant & HR Specialist

The Opportunity,
Take ownership of all accounting transactions, including general ledger, AP/ARReconcile G/L accounts to outside schedulesProcess human resources and facilities dutiesAssist with Monthly Closing and Month-end reports filingMaintain Excel schedules for Prepaids, Fixed Assets, Accrued Expenses, Deferred RevenueUse the internal system to issue statements of work for customers, track purchase orders, and invoice customers in a timely mannerProvide support for sales operations, including proposals, Contract Administration, and customer reportingAssist with key financial and human resource policies

The NeedsExperience working in software and professional services firmsAble to take on all aspects of accounting for a small, rapidly growing technology companyBackground in financial management software, such as QuickBooks or preferably PeachTreeAble to construct multi-sheet spreadsheets with ExcelAnd can work in a team environment, using all resources to assist the finance department and company to maintain high efficiency and accuracy
