Job Requirements:

 

1.Provide ongoing writing tutoring services to middle and high school students.

2.Exceed established service level specifications for student problem solving.

3. Exceedcustomer’s expectations on number of assignments completed and satisfactionwith training and tutoring services.

4.Write and edit content and resources.

5.Tutoring may be done in Apangea's office in downtown Pittsburgh and/or at yourhome office location.

 

Knowledgeand Skill Requirements:

 

1.Bachelor's degree in education or a related field is required

2.State teaching certification required – Secondary English

3. Act34, 114 and 151 Clearances required

4. Aminimum of three years of demonstrated successful experience in education or an

education-relatedfield.

5.Ability to multi-task and independently problem-solve

6.Strong personality and communication skills

7.Proficiency with Microsoft Office software suite

8. A commitment to collaboration with remote and local Apangea teammembers

9. Experience in developing and using grading rubrics

10.  Proficient typist11.  Ability to generate constructive criticismrelated to product development
