Relocated to Houston, Texas, Luby’s, Inc., incorporated since 1959, provides its restaurant guests with a wide variety of delicious, home-style food, with the majority of 129 locations serving cafeteria-style. With approximately 8,000 employees, Luby’s operates in properties regionally located as follows: one in Arizona, two in Arkansas, two in Louisiana, two in Oklahoma, and 122 in Texas. Luby’s continues its turnaround story under the leadership of the Pappas brothers, Christopher J. Pappas (Luby’s CEO) and Harris J. Pappas (Luby’s COO), with five brand new Luby’s Cafeterias scheduled to open in Texas in 2008. 

Luby's is currently seeking a Financial Systems Analyst to join our Finance team. This position offers an excellent salary and great benefits package!

ResponsibilitiesProvide Development and Application Support for multiple reporting and analysis tools used throughout the organization.Provide Maintenance and Development for TM1 – the company reporting and data analysis tool.Handle ad-hoc reporting and analysis requests from internal departments, including Planning and Analysis.Improve knowledge (and thus team and company’s knowledge) of best practices with reporting, data organization, and utilization of TM1 tool.

RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Computer ScienceSuccessful candidate likely has 3+ years of relevant work experience in an analytical roleIdeal candidate has both financial analysis experience and technical knowledge of SQL and OLAP toolsVery strong computer application skills; must be able to communicate effectively with internal Technology departmentFlexibility to adapt to changing priorities and requests from multiple constituencies simultaneouslyAbility to build rapport with various internal constituencies in order to help solve problems
