Financial Analyst

Fortent, Inc (www.fortent.com), a leading provider of compliance and risk management solutions to financial institutions worldwide, has an exciting opportunity for a Financial Analyst. The position will support the company’s continued growth by providing valuable analysis to our finance and operations management team across a broad range of business issues. The position will report to the Manager, Revenue Finance.

 

Specifically, this position will be responsible for:

 

• Supporting the monthly revenue and billings forecasting and close process• Conducting financial analysis related to margins, dayrates, capacity and profitability for all global services projects• Conducting monthly variance analysis• Assisting the Revenue Manager in reviewing client contracts and liaising with global sales and professional services teams • Assisting in the administration and analysis of data from multiple financial and operations databases• Supporting finance management in the completion of multiple presentations, including: Weekly Executive Update, Board of Directors and other ad-hoc presentation needs• Special projects as needed, including but not limited to: Assisting in the roll-out of new financial systems, ad hoc financial modeling, supporting analysis related to external audit

 

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1-4 years experience in finance/ accounting• Strong knowledge of financial analysis and modeling. Working understanding of accounting and construction of financial statements• Aptitude for working with large amounts and data and complex processes• Self starter with ability to work in a high-growth, entrepreneurial environment• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with team members and management from multiple departments• Basic understanding of professional services or software business preferred
