We are currently recruiting for a Expert Software Developer to join our team in Dallas, TX. Responsibilities Include:• Performs complex product design, systems analysis and programming activities on applications software which may require some research• Performs design, implementation and maintenance of single product modules/sub-systems• Participates in product design meetings• Prepares technical documentation of product sub-systems• Performs complex bug verification, release testing and beta support for assigned products• Researches problems discovered by QA or product support and develops solutions to the problems• Performs coding, unit testing and integration testing for functionality and limits with high quality deliverables• May assist in performing on-site client work on moderately complex applications• Drives process improvement• Acts as technical mentor to others• Will work with offshore development teams/projects• Participates actively in and may lead code reviews• Implements critical software or system changes• Researches new technology or development tools to remain informed of current technology• All other duties and responsibilities as assigned.• Travel (including international) up to 10%Qualifications:Experience/Education Required:• Bachelor's degree in business, software engineering or computer science or other relevant combination of training and education• Typically requires ten years of technical experience in product design and product support.• Microsoft developer certification strongly preferred• 1 -3 years working as part of an Agile development team preferred (SCRUM)• Experience with Test Driven Development preferred• Expert level knowledge of Microsoft Development tools (.Net 2.0 or newer, C#, SQL Server 2005/2008, IIS 6/7)• Experience designing & developing n-tier applications required• Experience with .Net Winforms required• Thorough technical knowledge in software development methodologies, design and implementation.• Extensive experience in using relevant programming languages• Excellent analytical and design skills at multiple product level• Excellent skills in research and analysis, project planning and implementation• Thorough understanding of entire development process, including specification, documentation and quality assurance.• Aware of business issues as they impact overall project plans• Excellent communications and interpersonal skillsMisys Healthcare: Experience, Solutions, Results
