Duties and Responsibilities:

Â·Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Development, documentation, and maintenance of cutting edge web-based applications.

Â·Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Providing technical consultation and expertise to Product Managers and other staff members.

Â·Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Writing technical and non-technical specifications and the documentation of procedures.

Â·Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Reviewing Product requirements, design, code and documentation.

Education, Experience and Skills:

Â·Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Bachelorâ€™s degree in Computer Science or related field

Â·Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Minimum 3 years experience in software or website development; proven experience developing large-scale database-driven applications

Â·Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Extensive professional experience programming PERL and knowledge of Object-oriented Perl.

Â·Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Expertise with XHTML, and JavaScript client-side scripting

Â·Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Professional experience with MySQL or equivalent

Â·Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Minimum 3 years experience in Unix/Linux use, scripting and tools

Â·Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Knowledge of XML, SOAP and AJAX highly desirable

Â·Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Familiarity with revision control software

Â·Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Excellent communication skills

Â·Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Ability to collaborate
