Experienced LAMP Developer
Duties and Responsibilities:
·       Development, documentation, and maintenance of cutting edge web-based applications.
·       Providing technical consultation and expertise to Product Managers and other staff members.
·       Writing technical and non-technical specifications and the documentation of procedures.
·       Reviewing Product requirements, design, code and documentation.
Education, Experience and Skills:
·       Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
·       Minimum 3 years experience in software or website development; proven experience developing large-scale database-driven applications
·       Extensive professional experience programming PERL and knowledge of Object-oriented Perl.
·       Expertise with XHTML, and JavaScript client-side scripting
·       Professional experience with MySQL or equivalent
·       Minimum 3 years experience in Unix/Linux use, scripting and tools
·       Knowledge of XML, SOAP and AJAX highly desirable
·       Familiarity with revision control software
·       Excellent communication skills
·       Ability to collaborate
