Position will require domestic travel to customer sites to aid in installation, deployment and training for Intergraph's SmartMarine 3D product.  This position will serve as a consultant to the customer for demonstrating the software and best practices for use in concert with the other Intergraph software suite of applications.  Duties include providing sales support for in-depth product demonstrations at customer sites, industry shows and internally sponsored user group meetings.  This highly visible position requires the person to have a high degree of communication/presentation skills.  Other duties include performing demo data creation for specific customer requests, helping customers implement these products as well as other duties to be assigned.  These "other duties" could be project management/product certification in nature.

 

Must have worked in the offshore platform or ship building industry, preferably in the design or operation of either for a minimum of 10 years.  Naval architect degree is a bonus.  Should have a working knowledge of database systems (Oracle or SQL), Microsoft OS and proficient in Microsoft Office.
Candidate should be a self starter that can manage multiple projects simultaneously, stringent customer requests, and project timelines.  Must be comfortable in customer facing situation i.e. presentations, proposals and problem resolution.
