JOB DESCRIPTIONLead the assessment, evaluation, planning, architecture, design, integration, and implementation of major network, system, application, and enterprise service management products like HP OpenView, Tivoli, CA Unicenter, BMC Patrol, etc. · Understand standard management protocols and technologies, e.g. SNMP, and participate and contribute in IETF, OASIS, and other standard bodies and industry forums. · Analyze and provide recommendations for management system, product integration, implementation and deployment in support of enterprise-wide strategies for provisioning, operations, monitoring, maintenance and customer service. · Analyze and develop management architecture concepts, alternatives and strategies. · Develop and implement prototypes, proof-of-concept demonstrations, and hands-on engineering of ESM solutions. Prototyping and integration of enterprise management services, including network, system, application, and service monitoring with SNMP, web-based management technologies, Web Services technologies and management integration products and technologies. · Analyze and provide recommendations for the tailoring and use of operational process models based on accepted industry standards, e.g. ITIL and TMF. ·Minimum: BS or equivalent and 10 years related experience or MS or equivalent and 5 years related experience or PhD and 3 years of related experience. · Preferred: BA or BS degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or other technical discipline. Advanced degree desired. · 5 or more years of experience in systems planning, operations, architectures and management, network management, application development and monitoring. · Network engineering and integration with an emphasis on systems integration is desired. · Hands-on experience with a variety of network and systems management tools such as HP OpenView Tivoli, CA Unicenter, or BMC Patrol Enterprise Manager is required. · Experience in planning, architecting, developing and implementing cross-product integrated enterprise management solutions as well as experience with ITIL planning and implementation is highly desired. ~MUST POSSESS AT MINIMUM TS/SCI LEVEL SECURITY CLEARANCE © 2007 Hewlett-Packard Development Company, L.P.
