Your tasks
We are a dynamic, entrepreneurial and growing team that provides great opportunities for individuals who want to be part of the development of exciting and innovative E-Commerce solutions. We currently have exciting opportunities for Java Software Developers in our New York based office.
In role you will be responsible for working within a team to develop, configure, deploy and test E-Commerce solutions for our clients. This includes, but may not be limited to developing, testing and implemetning scalable, maintainable and well documented E-Commerce solutions, delivering project work to defined timescales and deadlines and roactively reporting on project progress and related issues.

Our requirements
The ideal candidate possesses aBS or MS degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent, in addition to a minimum of 1 year related experience/coursework with dynamic web technologies (JSP, Servlet, JSF, Struts a plus), (this can be through college coursework), Java experience/coursework, dynamic language like Ruby/Python/Perl a plus (this can be through college coursework), experience/coursework in web technologies (HTML, CSS, Javascript, AJAX a plus). In addition, we require someone with database experience/coursework (MySQL, SQL Server and/or Oracle), XML technology experience/coursework (XSD, SAX, DOM, XSLT, etc.), and Java-IDE experience/coursework (Eclipse, JBuilder). Knowledge of application servers ((e.g. Tomcat, JBoss, etc.), project management tools, bug tracking (JIRA, Trac, Bugzilla, Wiki, etc.) a plus. Experience in developing E-Commerce solutions a highly desirable
You must have strong analytical, interpersonal and communication (oral and written) skills, be abel to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines and be a self-assured and confident performer with a professional approach. Candidates with a willingness to learn, a can do attitude, motivated to succeed and grow are highly desireable.
