Entry Level Recruiter - Sourcer

G.1440, an Information Technology Consulting and Staffing company located in Baltimore, is looking for an entry level Technical Recruiter for our fast growing IT Staffing division. We provide IT Staff Augmentation and Permanent Placement services to most of the major companies in the greater Baltimore area.  This is a full time internal employee position with G.1440 with full benefits. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401k, life and disability insurance, paid time off, and a flexible, fun working environment.  This Recruiter will assist our existing team of Recruiters in sourcing and pre-screening candidates. If you are self-motivated and not afraid of cold calling, we will teach you the IT staffing business in a supportive, team oriented, and very fun environment. We work hard and play hard.  Responsibilities include identifying qualified applicants for external positions from job boards, job postings, referrals and our large, user-friendly, quality applicant database; qualifying candidates for job openings; and working closely with our Account Executives to place candidates in contract, contract-to-hire, and permanent positions.  This job offers growth potential into a Senior Recruiter or outside Sales/Account Executive. We have been very pleased with the success of our entry level Recruiters. This will be the sixth time we have hired someone into this position. The first three entry level Recruiters were promoted to full lifecycle Recruiters, and the other two are on their way up!! The salary range for this job is 28k to 35k but there is an additional 12k in bonus potential.  G.1440 provides IT professional services and IT consulting & staffing services that Get IT to work for over 600 clients nationwide. This position requires excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational skills, multi-tasking skills, and the ability to make cold calls to potential candidates and screen applicants for jobs. Any experience with recruiting, inside sales, or customer service is plus. Any experience with cold calling is a big plus, as is Information Technology knowledge.
