Entry Level Controls Engineer

Due to our rapid growth, we are currently seeking a Controls Engineer for new and challenging hi-tech warehousing projects in Windsor, CT.  This position will play a key role with job site commissioning, service activities and the expansion of existing systems.

Our requirements include:

•Experience in PLC programming (AB ContolLogix, Siemens S7) for conveyor and/or crane systems.

•Interdisciplinary understanding of control interfaces.

•Knowledge of control bus systems (Profibus, ASI, Ethernet).

•The ability to write/implement software & review control panel/electrical layouts.

•Available to work on site to install, commission, and test installation of material handling solutions.

•The ability to work in a multi-cultural team environment.

•Computer skills including MS Office Suite.

•Must be willing to travel initially to Germany for training and as part of the job requirements.

•Excellent communication skills.
