Enterprise Data Management (EDM) Specialist

Purpose:The purpose of this department is the establishment and ongoing maintenance of a database of enterprise records to support our ongoing efforts against more robust and accurate reporting.  To accomplish this the position is responsible for the accurate matching of multiple market level records to an appropriate enterprise record.  This is designed to be an introductory position and offers the candidate the initial opportunity to learn the Radio Industry, the Viero software products, and the nuances of enterprise data and its management. Profile:The ideal candidate should have previous experience with data entry and data management, repetitive computer tasks and supporting software applications.  The candidate should be a quick learner and self-starter, as well as someone who shows initiative and is not afraid to ask all the required questions.  Previous customer service experience and a strong focus on building and maintaining working relationships is key.  A successful candidate is someone who takes ownership of the task or job, is tenacious with their research and desire for accuracy, and ensures that a positive outcome is realized.  The position requires a high degree of accuracy, attention to detail and analytical skills.  A positive attitude while maintaining the highest level of professionalism is necessary to meet the expectations of our corporate culture. The position will reside in our Aliso Viejo, California office. Qualifications: Â¨ Previous data entry and/or data management experience with software applications is required¨ Demonstrated customer service skills¨ Strong verbal skills¨ Strong analytical skills¨ Ability to focus on details and make quick, accurate decisions is critical¨ A high degree of tolerance for repetitive work¨ Ability to understand how his/her work product fits into the larger picture¨ Ability to “ownâ€� tasks and take pride in the accuracy of the data within the proprietary database¨ Previous radio Traffic and Billing or other radio industry experience is preferred¨ Proficiency in basic Windows® functionality required¨ High degree of proficiency in MS Office® products Primary duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:  Â¨ Accurately matches dispersed market level records with the appropriate corresponding enterprise record to create a parent/child relationship that supports enterprise reporting.¨ Accurately creates new enterprise records where none exists¨ Conducts follow up inquiries which will include, but are not limited to:o Contacting market personnel or subject matter experts to validate or clarify information provided o Verifying that the defined market level record is related to the Enterprise recordo Validating multiple records and the data within those recordso Researching via web search engines to help clarify relations between entities and to validate information¨ Maintains excellent relationships with market personnel to facilitate timely feedback and verification of requests¨ Ensures market feedback is captured within the call tracking software or via weekly reporting. ¨ Works according to pre-defined process for researching and matching records yet also provides input to improve said process¨ Completes matching tasks using proprietary tool ¨ Analyzes matched data and corrects any inaccuracies¨ Performs other related duties as assigned.
