This position is located in Austin, Texas.

 

Pluck is fast-paced environment with about 40 dedicated individuals capable of wearing different hats to get the job done.  A Pluck Engagement Manager can expect to not only work with customers on implementations, but also be involved in varied activities to help make the entire organization successful.

 

Responsibilities: Working with customers and project resources in scoping and estimating, including authoring Statements of Work Cultivating good professional working relationship with customer project stakeholders Planning and executing on-site Project Kick-offs Project Management Customer transition to support/operations teams Functional requirements gathering Software configuration Resolving configuration defects during a Professional Services engagement Product Best Practices consulting Assisting customer with test plans, training plans, and deployment/launch plans Conducting End-user training and Train-the-trainer training Inventing and defining critical business tools and processes to enable the success of Pluck’s service offerings Maintaining relationship with customers post-implementation



Requirements: 5+ years work experience in the technology sector, specifically with Internet and Web-based technologies 3+ years project management experience 3+ years relevant consulting work Proficiency in Microsoft productivity tools (Windows Explorer, Word, Power Point, Excel, Outlook) Proficiency with Microsoft Project Working business knowledge of HTML, XML, CSS, Javascript 3+ years work experience in the Business-to-Business Software-as-a-Service/ASP business model 2+ years working in the Publishing, Media or Advertising industries 2+ years experience in on-line community management 2+ years in readership attraction, search engine optimization, and community development Technical experience in and knowledge of HTML, XML, CSS, Javascript, and Java or C#
