Editorial Program Manager
Do you want to be part of Microsoft’s Live Search business? Are you passionate about defining and delivering a high quality Search experience? This is an exciting opportunity to impact the Search experience with the adCenter support team. adCenter support team in CSS is looking for a Supportability Program Manager with high energy and passion for online advertising to drive continuous improvements in the Search experience. This role will partner closely with the adCenter business teams, external vendors, and internal CSS team to drive innovations and improvements within the product and overall supportability experience. This role will require strong analytical and problem solving skills, ability to influence product planning and design, and drive Supportability requirements and priorities throughout the product lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the Customer, Partner, and Support related to the online Search experience. In this role, you will work closely with your adCenter business partners to:· Identify and champion efficient processes and opportunities to enhance the Editorial Review experience· Review design specs and test plans to identify supportability gaps and anticipate user scenarios· Assist the vendor and Microsoft support escalation teams with detailed product and policy knowledge· Provide the voice of customer to the business teams as needed to raise awareness and facilitate decisions· Reduction of the incident rate thru support automation, front of the funnel activities, and product improvements· Champion content and training needs for our Editorial Support Staff· Work closely with cross functional teams to provide necessary feedback in the product planning process· Identify manual processes that can be automated and work with Business Group to define requirements. Key Criteria:· 5 + years of program management experience· 3+ years of working with partners and customers· Solid Excel Skills with strong understanding of Macros· Advanced problem solving, business analysis and communication skills.· Understanding of process documentation, the ability to work independently, and the ability to influence others without having direct authority.· Experience with e-commerce or online advertising desirable Preferred Qualifications:· Online Advertising Experience· Database Design and Advanced Reporting Abilities Microsoft offers an excellent benefits package to full-time employees including medical, dental, vacation, employee stock purchase plan, and 401k, plus some great extras including: our 24-hour nurse line, stay fit program, product discounts, and paid infant care leave.
