Ecommerce Website Developer - Web Developer - ASP.Net, C#, html/css

The E-Commerce Department is rapidly growing to meet the needs of a quickly expanding effort into online and multichannel marketing.

This is an exciting opportunity to get in at the ground level of a rapidly developing department within the company. This department has significant support from the Board of Directors, who are eager to further pursue our recent explosive success on the web.


The Web Developer must have strong web applications development and analytical (i.e. requirements gathering) skills, as well as the ability to learn new technologies quickly, based on prior experiences with similar tools.

The Web Developer will provide expert level advice on tools and platform direction. The Web Developer must have superior written and verbal communication skills and the ability to present technical solutions to internal clients of all levels.

The Web Developer requires working with individuals and cross functional teams to establish frameworks, architecture, develop and maintain our web based systems and applications.

Main duties include:

•  Web application design & development
•  Integration with existing e-commerce system, ERP system and thirds party applications
•  Provide plans for development efforts
•  Assess technology used in terms of risks, feasibility, and usability


Experience Required:

• Demonstrable expertise in ASP.NET & C#
• Demonstrable expertise with web technologies (AJAX, FLEX, JavaScript, XML, XSLT, HTML/DHTML,  CSS)
• Demonstrable skill with web services & API integrations
•   Solid understanding of cross-browser/platform issues and code solutions
•     Familiarity with web standards and CSS-driven layouts
• Must be familiar with content management systems
• Experience using SQL, MYSQL and database systems
• Strong oral and written communications skills
• Independent worker capable of full life cycle ownership of a project
•   Experience with additional languages/technologies a plus
