USG has an immediate opening for an ETL -Systems Designer 2. This position is located in Chicago. Position Description: Individual must work in an effective and timely manner within USG's BI IT Application Team and business units. Works with external customers to refine ETL document specifications, participates in ETL project implementations and supports production ETL systems (including off-hours support) as well as performing analysis, design, coding, testing, debugging, support and implementation of in-house computer programs in accordance specifications and standards.Position Requirements: 5+ years of relevant and demonstrable full-lifecycle development experience with ETL tools (OWB preferred). Strong source-to-target data mapping experience. Relevant and demonstrable experience in dimensional modeling. Thorough knowledge of applicable programming languages, tools, and other application information technologies. Extremely proficient at written documentation especially for requirements, design, implementation, and operational procedure documentation.
