 Description:
The Embedded Software Engineer is responsible for developing and maintaining PC-Doctor, Inc. software, working at the embedded system or firmware level.
 Responsibilities Include:
·        Enhance, improve, and maintain the source code
·        Quickly adapt to advances in technology, and design and implement test procedures for them
·        Independently learn and apply new software techniques and programming languages
·        Work effectively in a fast paced environment on complex projects
·        Create and maintain technical documents, specifications and procedure descriptions
·        Other special projects and/or duties as assigned

Requirements Include:
·        4 year technical degree or equivalent experience
·        More than two years of related technical experience
·        Experience with C and x86 Assembly language programming
·        PC hardware knowledge, and ability to keep up with developments in PC hardware and firmware
·        Excellent communication skills, including ability to work cooperatively and congenially with others
·        Ability to respond positively in a dynamic environment and take initiative

           Desired skills include:
·                    System level protected mode programming
·                    Experience programming PCI devices
·                    Device driver writing experience
·                    Operational knowledge of PC BIOS and DOS
