E-Marketing Specialist
Pitney Bowes Business Insight seeks an E-Marketing Specialist Pitney Bowes Business Insight (formerly MapInfo and Group 1 Software), develops software to provide customers with innovative solutions in Location Intelligence, Customer Data Quality/Data Integration, Communication Intelligence, and Customer Communication Management (CCM). The company's solutions are utilized by more than 3,500 organizations worldwide in numerous vertical markets; such as utilities, financial services/banking, retail, telecommunications, insurance and public sector. Pitney Bowes Business Insight is currently seeking an E-Marketing Specialist with technical skills and a desire to utilize cutting edge online marketing technologies to achieve business goals. The position requires close collaboration with geographically dispersed Marketing Managers in support of all online marketing initiatives. This position is based in Troy, NY. Essential Duties & Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Proofing, editing and publishing email marketing communications Scheduling, coordinating and hosting live online seminars Utilizing and supporting users of sophisticated online marketing system to create automated marketing campaigns, web forms/surveys, etc. Continuous education and implementation of new online marketing technologies Recording, editing and posting view-on-demand content Editing and working with web graphics Education/Work Requirements: BS/BA in Business, Marketing or Computer Science 1-2 years experience or equivalent Knowledge of HTML (ability to understand and edit existing code) is required Some knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and working with web graphics is required Analytical abilities (knowledge of standard eMarketing reporting terms and statistics) Specialized Skills and Knowledge: Keen eye for detail Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines Strong customer service skills and the ability to troubleshoot online issues Experience with eNewsletters / Email Service Providers (preferably Vtrenz or Eloqua) is preferred Prior experience with online seminars (preferably WebEx Events Center) is a plus Experience with Flash is a plus Pitney Bowes is an EEO/AA Employer
