Duties, Responsibilities, and Expectations_______



We have a challenging career position for a Website Designer.

The candidate will be responsible for keeping the Web Design a dynamic, simple to use, easy to order from website with regular updates on an ongoing basis.

Duties                                                          _________

Front-end development and client-side interactions using HTML, XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, Ajax and other related interactive technologies. Design website layout and user-interface Adds new products to company website. Edits or resizes images for website. Designs advertisement banners for website and email blasts. Cross platform and browser testing / development; Internet Explorer and Firefox. Will also test site at different pixel resolutions. Ability to work productively with minimal supervision Excellent attendance and promptness (good attendance record)

Requirements                                                          __

Strong creative skills Both information and user-interface design capability Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, InDesign, Quark-Express and other related software programs Lead efforts to improve overall merchandise presentation and ease of shopping on the website to improve conversion. Create appropriate cross-sell and up-sell opportunities throughout the site. Monitor performance and adjust accordingly. Review competitive websites to evaluate site merchandise, promotional tactics, customer experience, and product presentation and translate findings into executable online programs. Image Sourcing (stock images, resolution needs and copyright law) Candidates responding to this posting must currently possess the eligibility to work in the United States. Candidate must be living locally

Full-time or Part-time permanent work (Hours are Monday - Friday, 8 am to 5 pm plus occasional weekend paid O.T.) Paid vacation (2 weeks per year, starts to accumulate immediately beginning with full-time job offer) Health and dental insurance (after 6 months evaluation period)
