E-Commerce Integration Specialist

Description:Eaton Corporation located in Moon Township, PA has an opening for an E-Commerce Integration (ECI) Specialist.The primary function includes but is not limited to: responsibility for the Global E-Commerce Integration needs of Eaton's Electrical Business, with a primary focus on North and South America and International customers. Our new acquisitions in Europe and Asia as well as our existing business overseas will require that this role interface directly with Business and IT Leadership as well as with Channel Partner and Customer Principals to drive our e-commerce and e-business programs. This role will continue to provide guidance for all e-commerce activities with distributors, customers and partners in the United States including our new global customer market segments being addressed with Oracle i-Stores. This position partners with all levels of the Channel and Field Sales organizations, primarily through the District Managers and DSSs to drive our e-commerce utilization metrics of Vistaline on the Web (VOTW), Bid Manager, Bid Manager Direct Order Entry (DOE), E-Invoicing, Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), D-RFQ and other Global E-Commerce initiatives.Essential functions include but are not limited to:A Implement General Price Increases with our Channel partners and customers. This requires the coordination of IT development efforts, business requirements, and the distribution of relevant pricing data and software updates to our industry partners (IDEA), with Field Sales and with our Channel Partners.B Execute Business to Business and Business to Consumer e-commerce efforts globally. This position will partner with the IT E-Business team and the Product Marketing Managers to deploy various global Oracle i-Stores and most importantly to manage the conversion of existing Vistaline on the Web (VOTW) users to our i-Store platform.C Be heavily engaged in defining and scoping their e-commerce requirements for online and EDI transactions and be responsible for developing the rollout plan to the local distribution network and identifying the local resources in-country to help deliver the message to the Channel that we have a new e-commerce platform and that they are required to utilize it.D Understand, market and coordinate the implementation of EDI transactions with the new FPG EDI Center of Excellence and with our global customer base. E Drives e-commerce metrics through communications and visits to the field sales/Distributor Sales Specialist (DSS) organization.F Work towards continuous improvement in all aspects of e-commerce related activities; this could include but is not limited to new programs within VOTW, Bid Manager, Price increases, Software releases, Customer Specific Price (CSP)/Distributor Stock Price (DSP)/Transaction Specific Price (TSP) related activities and IDW.G Works with the Avery Creek, NC location personnel to resolve service related issues for customers; this could include but is not limited to shipping errors, EDI mapping related errors, Vista inaccuracies and order/delivery confirmations. H Provides support and assistance to internal/external customers utilizing any credit related transactions; this could include but is not limited to EDI transactions (844, 849, etc...), e-claims and deductions. I Acts as a liaison for Marketing Communications when action or information is required to support a distributor, customer and/or contractor.J Works with Global Sales and Marketing (GSM) Program Manager to research and prioritize Request IT submissions; this could include meeting with users to discuss and document specific IT needs.
