E-Commerce Architect

Full Time, Temporary/Contract/Project Job Category: IT/Software Development E-Commerce Architect Our client, a leading Software Company located in San Jose, CA, is looking for an E-Commerce Architect to join their team.Responsibilities: - Lead large scale e-Commerce business application design efforts. - Independently interact with business and IT stakeholders while articulating a total architectural solution. - Demonstrate expertise with a broad set of development tools/technologies. - Have a firm understanding of design methods and architectures. - Assist in establishing team goals, objectives, and budget. - Ability to define, create, and complete technical tasks without guidance. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. - 10+ yrs in application architecture/enterprise architecture, systems integration and development, packaged applications implementations, software programming/design, and relational databases. - 5+ years of WebSphere Commerce experience (including hands-on experience with Portal, WID, and WAS) strongly desired. - Required expertise in multiple technology platforms/languages including Java, J2EE, EJB, WebSphere, JSP, XML, SOAP, JavaScript. - Must have experience with implementation of an SOA (Service-Oriented Architecture) framework. - Desired expertise in multiple technology platforms/languages, including Siebel, SAP MDM, WebMethods, MVC patterns, SQL, Oracle RDBMS, and SAP. - Experience in full lifecycle software development processes and methods.
