Documentum Architect:
We are looking to hire a Documentum Architect who has a passion and desire to build a career around Enterprise Content Management Solutions. This is an opportunity to work in the Houston, TX area in a NON TRAVELING full time permanent position. Our client is a vendor agnostic company associated with the integration and deployment of enterprise content. Candidates will be attracted to an environment where projects come and go. The Architect role provides an opportunity to go from the full life cycle of a product development process without having to suffer the multi year maintenance of a project. Most Technical Architects love to build something new but dislike maintaining and upgrading three years from now. This role is different however. Our client does innovative work for interesting companies building very valuable business solutions for Fortune 500 companies. Our client is a hybrid in that they are probably more of a software development show than a consulting firm. With an elite development team our client is building product quality solutions in a professional manner using a leading edge development process on contemporary technologies. This position utilizes the same or better processes a software company is but is also working on interesting projects every two to six months. The attraction involves: Role, Career Path and vibrancy/interest.
Qualifications:3 years + of Documentum experience 7 years of IT related experience Object-Oriented Design and Programming XML/XSL Java/JSP/J2EE Application Servers
Additionally,we would like for this candidate to work with customers, bringing in and configuring the documentum technology, understanding their business processes, and how you in effect translate what work they do and how they do it into using the utilization of the documentum technology and others. Fundamentally we are trying to identify a candidate who has the skill set and the intrapersonal skills, to sit down at a client, understand their requirements translate that into a design. We are looking for that candidate who can serve from beginning to end as the client advocate. A candidate who has the knowledge of how to translate what a customer is doing into requirements; the person that has the knowledge to configure the system; to delivering that and then following that up with training, implementation, etc.
