Director of Recruiting
OAO Technology Solutions, Inc. (OAOT) is seeking an energetic, innovative, and dynamic Director of Recruiting to manage the Company's Human Capital Management Solutions (HCMS) division's recruiting team. This position is based in the division's headquarters office in Durham, NC. Job SummaryThe Director of Recruiting for the HCMS Business Unit is responsible for leading and managing the day-to-day operations of the HCMS Recruiting team. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure that all financial goals, placements, and deliverables are met on time, and within budget, and exceed customer expectations. This individual should be a self-starter, an excellent communicator and team builder, and be able to drive results while building a high performance team. This individual should also possess a portfolio of best practices and techniques that can be leveraged and a professional demeanor that inspires trust and confidence in his/her employees, management, and peers. Essential Role and Responsibilities:· Actively manage recruiting team and function for HCMS division.· Develop and implement best practices and strategies as required to increase new and retail lines business.· Design incentive compensation plans that drive the right behavior · Develop customer relationships where appropriate· Build a strong and results-focused recruiting team. Coach and mentor recruiters to ensure continued success and quota achievement.· Ensure time-to-fill ratios are in line with required service levels.· Collect and report metrics as required to assess current state of business, drive change, and manage the ongoing operation for success. · Ensure all reporting documentation, across projects and locations, is provided accurately and on time.· Assist in recruiting process when necessary (interviewing, candidate screening, etc.)· Meet contract requirements by ensuring we submit and ultimately hire qualified candidates, on time, and within budget.· Maintain high retention rate for recruiting team.· Liaise with managers to define staffing forecasts, recruiting requirements, and any changes to defined requirements.· Ensure recruiting databases are current and accurate and that tracking and reporting system is meeting needs of the recruiting team.· Ensure recruiter workload is balanced.· Work with Human Resources to ensure contract compliance and timely onboarding.· Identify, develop, and implement training requirements for recruiting team.· Manage various agreements/contracts with recruiting vendors and solutions. Identify, recommend, and implement vendors and solutions when necessary. Management Duties and Responsibilities: Directly manage recruiting team of approximately 10 employees.Other Duties and Responsibilities: Work with outside organizations to increase candidate pool and business base. Assist sales team with new business, including new business proposals and presentations to potential customers. Build customer relationships as required Other duties as assigned.Skills, Knowledge, and Experience: Directly manage recruiting team of approximately 10 employees. A minimum of 7 years in a recruiting related field, with at least 3 of those years as a recruiting manager. Bachelor’s degree is preferred but will consider a combination of knowledge, skills and ability. Demonstrated problem solver and enthusiastic team player that supports other team member's goals as well as his/her own. High-level knowledge of recruiting and managing best practices. Self-motivated. A demonstrated track record of building teams, overcoming challenges, and delivering results Able to drive change without breaking the organization Strong knowledge of all Microsoft Office products, knowledge of Lotus Notes and iCims is a plus. Background and knowledge that includes information technology exposure to both software and infrastructure. Work with minimal supervision to reach agreed goals. Have a flexible and creative approach; working well in an environment dedicated to results and continuous improvement. Able to demonstrate a history of high energy and high productivity.
