Director of Network Operations (IT) - SaaS 24/7 production environment

You will take over our information systems infrastructure and lead the IT team and strategy to support significant growth. You will be experienced with maintaining high performance systems supporting multi-national, high volume transactional applications and top level brands. You will bring your mix of 10+ years of building and maintaining infrastructures for scaling and established companies. You will coordinate and collaborate with our leadership team to develop a sustainable IT strategy to meet our needs. You will be an excellent combination of hands-on effort and strategic leadership of your small, but productive, IT team.

This position is based in San Francisco, CA and will report to our VP of Operations.Job Responsibilities

· Manage the IT team including system, database, and network administration, help desk, and release engineering.  Provide strong leadership and mentoring for a growing team.

· Analyze, develop and implement an IT strategy that supports the overall business goals.

· Responsible for managing the data center and the website to provide 24x7 production stability.

· Handle and develop vendor relationships from evaluations, implementation, price negotiations, contracts, and service level agreements.

· Identify cost reduction strategies using leading-edge technology (Content Distribution Networks, automated monitoring software, VOIP conference calling, etc).Job Requirements

· BS/MS in Computer Science or other technical degree.

· High energy, collaborative with a passion for a stable, working web-site.

· Minimum 10 years of IT experience with 3 or more years of management in a high-transaction ecommerce web-site with a successful track record of delivering a rock-solid platform.

· Proven track record of taking a consultative, customer-approach with internal teams and proactively communicating with all stake holders.

· Hands-on and able to work in the trenches when necessary. Can lead by example.

· At least 3 years of supporting a heterogeneous environment involving Linux and Windows.Nice to have

· Compliance experience (SOX, PCI, etc)

· Broad knowledge of business applications with a focus on CRM/SFA, ERP, and HR systems. Salesforce.com and Daptiv experience is a plus.
