Director-VP Marketing

Summary:

The Director/VP of Marketing will be responsible for developing and executing the Company’s Marketing strategy, developing the skills of his/her direct reports, supporting Sales efforts, and meeting Marketing goals. The Director/VP of Marketing will primarily interact with the Operations and Product Development teams at Tickets.com to develop brand positioning, communication strategy and tactics, and online and offline marketing campaigns to drive ticketing revenue.

 Develop and execute Marketing strategyBuild Marketing plans to meet business goals Develop consistent and effective brand messagingCreate compelling sales collateral, advertising and retail signageDevelop and execute online and offline marketing campaignsEffectively analyze campaigns to measure effectivenessManage Tickets.com website; improve its navigation, UI and conversion ratesManage Tickets.com client branded website platform to drive effectiveness and conversion ratesDevelop marketing materials to support new product roll outsDevelop and manage marketing budgetsDrive product revenue streamsDevelop Marketing reports and Marketing analysisDevelop and execute lead generation programs and analysisAnalyze Marketing team success and develop continuous improvement plansBecome the product knowledge expertIdentify market trends and competitive strengths and weaknessesWork closely with internal departments to identify key client messaging for new products and servicesWork with the CEO and our internal divisions to develop new clientsIn coordination with the Legal team, prepare Agreements for ticketing services and amendmentsWork closely with Operations/Sales to develop Marketing collateral and effective selling tools

 

Position Requirements:8 – 12 years of professional Marketing experience, preferably servicing Sports and Entertainment clients5 - 7 years Marketing Management experienceMinimum 5 – 7 years experience with Marketing software3 – 5 years of software or online marketing experience preferredTrack record of success in meeting Marketing goals and objectives Demonstrated ability to plan and execute effective trade showsA deep understanding of the changes and trends in the advertising business and effective online and non-traditional media campaignsA demonstrated ability to position and market brandsA demonstrated ability to understand consumers and their behaviorDemonstrated experience rolling out new product and/or new service roll-out plansDemonstrated ability to build business plans, budgets and forecastsKnowledge of the ticketing business a plusExcellent follow-up skills and attention to detailExcellent written and verbal communicationsProven presentation skillsBS or BA required, MBA or Graduate degree a plusAbility to travel approximately 15% of time, or as business needs require
