Secure Computing is proud to be the security solutions provider to many of the most mission-critical and sensitive environments in the world.DescriptionSecure Computing is looking for an experienced Director of Product Marketing to drive a small yet empowered team to own the development of Secure Computing’s go-to-market strategy and tactics for our messaging security product line, including IronMail and add-on products: Edge and our TrustedSource service. This includes working across the organization and in concert with Product Management and corporate marketing in the development and implementation of positioning, pricing, promotion, channel and sales enablement, and competitive analysis.Working with Engineering and Product Management, you will monitor the development of business plans leading to market road maps, and manage product lifecycles; positioning our offering in the market place and orchestrating product launches and promotions. You will deliver the collateral and tools needed to support field sales and Secure Computing’s global channel partners.Responsibilities Management of product line business. Focusing on the creation and fulfillment of the demand necessary to meet and exceed product revenue and market share goals. Identifying and removing obstacles to market success. Defining new and innovative approaches to growing revenues This individual will be expected to evangelize and promote the product externally, and the market needs internally. In short, this person will act like the “marketing CEO� of the product line.Requirements BA/BS in relevant field, with an MBA preferred. 8+ years of relevant product marketing and or product management experience (preferably in the messaging related security industry). An excellent track record of growing product line revenues. Solid product marketing skills. Strong analytical ability to assess complex situations and exceptional creativity to provide solutions. Strong working knowledge of messaging and network security technologies and/or security services.
