Director Financial Operations

Datacolor is seeking an Accounting professional for a senior level position in our global shared service Accounting Department based in Lawrenceville, N.J.

 

In this role the incumbent will:

·  lead the Accounting Operations team in providing reliable statutory financial statements and all external reporting

·  prepare the global financial consolidation for all Datacolor entities worldwide

·  perform hands-on controllership responsibilities for our U.S. and Hong Kong entities and

·   manage our global transfer pricing strategy

 

The position plays a key role in the company’s financial management process, leads / participates on projects to reduce costs / increase operating efficiencies and will play an important role in evaluating / recommending information system needs.

 

The position is based in Lawrenceville, New Jersey and reports directly to the CFO.

 

Requirements:

·  Experienced controller with 10+ years in accounting / finance roles

·  CPA is required, MBA desirable

·  Strong knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP Accounting rules.

·  Financial Consolidation experience for a multinational manufacturing business.

·  Experienced with global transfer pricing / shared service billing models

·  JD Edwards experience or other large ERP systems experience.

·  Solid leadership skills

·  Highly effective communication skills in a multinational business environment with solid analytical / presentation skills.

 

Major Responsibilities / Accountabilities:

·  Financial Statements: preparation and analysis of entities and our global consolidation

·  Internal Controls: oversee and establish effective internal controls

·  Audit: managing  external audits and key liaison with internal audit

·  Global Transfer Pricing: management of documentation requirements and pricing model.

·  Manufacturing Accounting: analysis of product costing (standard cost environment), variance analysis and inventory valuation.

·  IT Systems: ongoing systems evaluation and recommendations of enhancements.

·  Credit / AR and Expenses Management: working knowledge, management experience in these areas is not required
