Digital Senior Art Designer

Digital Senior Art Designer is to lead, influence, and develop the design of websites and associated online media, both visually and functionally in terms of creative direction, navigation, and page layout. The Senior Art Designer is responsible for development and implementation of design and programming standards as they relate to the use of design-oriented tools and languages (HTML, DHTML, Flash, ActionScript, DreamWeaver) and development servers Produce visual concept, page design, navigation and information architecture for websites, online media ads, and email marketing communications. Program page templates and non-database driven portions of websites. Work with project management to develop design recommendations, scope of work and supporting estimates. Collaborate with project management to coordinate workload within the group. Understand browser capabilities and design constraints on the Web. Research and gain expertise in design tools for the Web environment. Coordinate with Project Manager, Account Manager, and Content Developer to make sure visual design communicates and functions successfully from a technical and informational standpoint. Strong understanding and experience in search optimizing visual design and concept in the Web environment. Visually integrate and enhance the architecture, UI and navigation, within technical specifications. Mentor Interactive Web Designers. Collaborate with Interactive Group Director to develop and implement group standards. 5-7 years experience Agency or traditional marketing experience a plus
