Development Specialist (Quality Control)
MEDITECH is looking for staff to perform quality control testing on our Health Care Information System. Ideal candidates will ensure that the MEDITECH products are delivered to our customers with uncompromising quality. Development specialists will accomplish these standards of excellence through a variety of responsibilities which are part of the product development cycle. In this position, you will develop test plans that will put our products through rigorous unit and production level tests. You will work side by side with our technical staff who program our products, as well as with our analysts who develop the blueprints for the design of the products. MEDITECH will train qualified candidates who have the desire to learn and who enjoy researching issues and problem solving. Responsibilities: * Developing concise, thorough and detailed test plans * Executing test plans * Working closely with other members of our development staff to resolve software issues * Educating staff on changes within the software * Creating documentation specific to testing scenarios Qualifications: * Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required * Ability to work independently and meet deadlines is a must * Strong analytical skills * High desire to learn * Great project management skills * Exceptional attention to detail and solid problem solving abilities Education & Experience: Associates Degree, Bachelors Degree or applicable work experience. Technical skills in testing are a plus but not required.
