Development Lead - Machine Learning

· Work with clients to devise a cutting-edge natural language processing solution used for e-commerce applications

· Evaluate machine translation vendors

· Identify and setup development, source code control, build, and testing environments

· Develop and integrate code in a distributed-computing,  object-oriented environment

· Create prototypes to support project analysis efforts

· Implement and configure third party applications and tools where appropriate

· Coordinate system installation and transition activities to production environment

· Develop and direct software and system testing procedures and documentation efforts

· Provide knowledge transfer required to ensure customer's implementation team is successful and self-sufficient

· Ensure company capabilities, standards and procedures are followed on customer accounts and that MomentumSI is delivering high quality solutionsQualifications

· Strong Java development experience in one or more of the following areas

· 10+ years software development experience

· Proven academic and work experience with concepts pertaining to Natural language support/Artificial Intelligence/machine learning.

· J2EE application architecture experience involving Java programming, Servlets, EJB, JSP, JMS, JNDI and JDBC

· Experience and expertise on webservices including webservice enablement of existing applications.

· Experience in designing and developing Java application frameworks.
Experience working on E-Commerce related projects is a big plus

· Knowledge of  workflow engine or natural language support or machine learning

· Experience in designing and implementing complex web services for SOA architecture.  

· Previous experience in building services to integrate with 3rd party technology.

· Ability to quickly assimilate, organize, analyze, abstract and synthesize large amounts of information and to make decisions based on this analysis

· Experience mentoring development team members

· Must have authorization to work in the United States
