Developer/Analyst

Description:
Under the supervision of Information Technology Team Lead, the Developer/Analyst is responsible for system analysis, coding, testing, debugging, documenting, and installing portions of new systems and modification of existing systems. Expertise in application design, database design, software implementation and graphical user interface design. Quick study with an ability to easily grasp new technologies, software and IT architecture.
· Code and design new applications based upon detail specifications of business and user
requirements
· Analyze existing applications to determine where problems occur and develop possible
solutions
· Conduct system testing for assigned area of responsibility
· Experienced in developing high volume transactional applications
· Develop applications utilizing SQL, C# and other Microsoft Windows programming tools
· Create documentation of designs and solutions for assigned task
· Work within departmental standards and guidelines of application development and
operational support
· Demonstrates strong ability to work as a member of a team
Requirements:
· 4-year college degree in Information Systems or Business, or similar
· 3 – 5 years prior software development experience
· Experience with C#, SQL, Visual Basic, ASP.Net, Powerbuilder
· Experience in Financial Services, Payroll or related business preferred
· Strong analytical and problem solving skills
· Well-organized with good time management skills
· Can-do attitude demonstrating client focus
