Delivery Consultant - Testing Services

Today, more than 46,100 customers in more than 120 countries run SAP applications – from distinct solutions addressing the needs of small businesses and midsize companies to suite offerings for global organizations.PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES The Testing Consultant will facilitate the design, implementation, customer mentoring, training, and on-going support of HP Software - QualityCenter, Performance Center/LoadRunner, QuickTest Professional - within an SAP application environment. The Testing Consultant will also be responsible for the enablement of automation on functional and/or performance testing delivery engagements.EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS • Independently deliver testing services engagements. • Successfully lead teams consisting of consultant, employee, and/or client resources throughout the delivery of testing services engagements. • Confidently present to client leadership on testing strategies, best practices, and recommendations. • Efficiently automate test scripts with HP Software/Mercury testing tools – LoadRunner and/or QuickTest Professional. • Maintain test requirements, test scripts, test status, and defects in QualityCenter. • Analyze and map clients’ business requirements, processes, and objectives. • Develop necessary services project plans and Mercury Product recommendations. • Assist with the creation of Testing Services collateral and content while leveraging repeatable processes developed during customer engagements, which will be used towards the development of new products and Testing Services packages. • Assist in the development of the overall project plan (scoping process) as well as individual work plans. • Act as liaison with client for troubleshooting: investigates, analyses, and solves software problems. • Maintain/expand client list & builds credible relationships w/ clients, develops own professional learning of SAP products/technologies and solutions as well as Mercury Products & solutions. • Assist in internal activities - hotline, remote consulting, presales, SAPPHIRE, prepares training materials, teach on-site courses and provide mentoring/support to less experienced colleagues. WORK EXPERIENCE • Over 3 years of practical experience of testing software applications, hardware infrastructures, and/or network topologies. • Over 3 years of practical experience with HP Software QualityCenter (Mercury TestDirector) • Over 3 years of practical experience with test automation using HP Software LoadRunner (performance) and/or QuickTestProfessional (functional) • Over 2 years of practical experience with SAP - Netweaver, R/3, APO, BW, etc. • Experience with an industry vertical in Financial and Public Services, Manufacturing, and/or Service. • Experience with EDI, ALE, and middleware applications. • Experience with test scripting of web pages (HTML). • Bachelor’s Degree • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
