Works closely with alldevelopment resources in regards to creating an integrated model comprising of multiple business/subject areasof the data warehouse. Overall responsibilities include extracting business rules (business processes, businessentities, etc.) from the customer, designing the associated model, and create all required documentation tosupport, communicate, and validate the data model. All models created should conform to strategic goals of theAgency and should have appropriate supporting documentation (entity relationship diagrams (ERDs), businessprocess diagrams, and process flow diagrams, metadata, etc.). Assists with metadata repository management;prepares and implements data verification and testing methods for the data warehouse. Creates index and viewscripts.· minimum of five (5) years of experience working in data warehouse data modeling, data management,data transformation, metadata and business intelligence tools· experience facilitating requirements and design meetings· experience with SQL query techniques· experience multitasking several projects· working knowledge of conformed dimensions with a minimum of Star and Snowflake dimensionalmodeling approaches· experience creating data mapping documents between source systems and the target data warehouse· experience working with data modeling tools including, but not limited to PowerDesigner· experience working with a metadata repository· experience working in an Oracle environment· excellent communication skills (oral and written)· experience working with technical developers and the business communityBachelor's degree or higher in information management, computer science, or related discipline.
